The Savory Spice shop by Platte River downtown is owned by food network star: Janet Johnson. Get freshly ground spices & maybe meet a star.
There are many down town parks within walking distance that have city or mountain views. Grab antipasti at Panzano to-go and eat it in a park.

A must see is Steuben’s in Uptown. Sit at the bar and try the “Last Word” or the “Nowhere to Run” for a unique beverage.
Check out Hops and Pie in the Highlands. They have the greatest beer selection with outstanding food. Try the Artisan pizza of the day.

With Denver's B-Cycle program you can borrow one of over 500 bikes for over 50 stations around town. First 30 min free, $6 for 24 hours.
The Cherry Creek Trail is accessible just a few blocks from the hotel and offers great views of the city.

The weather in Colorado is pretty mild almost year round and there are literally miles and miles of great motorcycle riding.
I would definitely take a day trip up Mt. Falcon Park near Red Rocks and take a hike up to the top.

There are many great boutiques on Larimer Square, including Scarpaletto for amazing shoes and Dog Savvy to spoil your pups.
One of my favorite places to shop and get lost is the Tattered Covered Bookstore. It is a great independent bookstore, reminiscent of a library, and local to Denver with three Denver Metro locations.

Stop by and enjoy a pint at any of the fabulous, local microbreweries in the Denver area. Breckenridge Brewery, near Coors Field, is my favorite. Try their Vanilla Porter.
Check out Coors Field to catch the Rockies playing a home game. The field is great, and the energy is always fun.
